Miss Irma Stern Description: Pencil drawing of left profile of Irma Stern standing looking at one of her works of art with pencil text. Pencil inscription on the front right: Miss Stern's Stern was seen to good advantage on Thursday at her exhibition of oils and temperas at the Association of Arts Gallery in Burg Street. She was admiring some of her pictures and becoming ecstatic, grasped her bag underneath her b- and the pose - here illustrated - was the result. The hat was added as an afterthought - in Stern fashion. One of Miss Stern's manny paintings can be seen on the wall behind her. P.t.o. Inscription continues top back: What is the name of the painting? - Oh I thought you knew. It is called "The Blind Beggar". "Cheese, Dudley !!!!" Below this is a typewritten inscription: THE WOEFUL TALE OF A PERSON BEING CAUGHT UNAWARES IN A POSITION WHICH CAN HARDLY BE DESCRIBED AS ONE OF GRACE OR MISS STERN'S STERN or THE PICTURE OF A BUM -- BUM AGAIN. Beneath this is written, in a pencil circle with an arrow pointing to the second BUM: no doubt, the culprit who caused all the havoc on the river.
