Half "clavus" Description: Half of vertical band, clavus, wool on linen, woven into the tunic from the side; very little embroidery; colours: black, beige, red, blue, ochre; letters probably Geez; design consists of 4 casettes with 4 different Coptic saints in a scroll border, the scrolls ending in grotesque heads; design from the top down: 1. long bearded saint with halo, praying, tree of life next to him; 2. long bearded saint with halo wearing a rich garment; 3. probably John the Baptist; 4. unrecognizable.
