Description: Painted wood carving of a standing female figure with downcast eyes; her arms crossed over her chest; holding a cloth in her right hand; wearing a red robe with long sleeves; blue/black mantel. As she holds a cloth she is probaby St Veronica who was a woman from Jerusalem who wiped the face of Christ with a veil when he was on the way to Calvary.
