Celadon dish Description: Large celadon dish, heavily potted, probably greyish body; flat mouthrim moulded in 12 sections; exterior and interior of the cavetto are ribbed; sunken exterior base with glazed footrim; a ring on the exterior base is left unglazed and has burnt reddish;on the centre of the interior base is a medallion with an incised motif of a flower and leaves under the glaze; heavy sea-green glaze; a few eel eyes in the glaze.
