Description: Terracotta figure with traces of red and black paint; seated, holding dog or bird; turban-like headdress with rectangular shape in centre and diamond shape on either side; shawl around neck; bracelets and earrings. Remains of a British Antique Dealers Association circular label top back; collection label IEA as noted on original catalogue sheet and on catalogue card is missing. Pre-Columbian, Chupicuaro, 'late formative' 300 BC - 300 AD.
