Description: Small bowl. Provincial coarse porcelain; 'grove porseleinen in Dutch'. Small bowl; blue and white; similar to 506 but this specimen has a brilliant glaze; moulded lip; high footrim; entire bowl is glazed; interior and exterior decorated with underglaze blue segments containing alternate symbols; blue spiral on interior base; exterior lip and top of footrim painted with a blue ring. South Chinese export ware to the Philippines etc. Probably made in the Fukien province.
